Luis Jimenez Aranda (1845 - 1928 ). The artist went to Rome in 1867 to broaden her knowledge and in 1876 settled in Pontoise , near Paris , before becoming a French citizen. Luis participated in exhibitions at the Paris Salon and received an award at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889, and Chicago, in 1893.
