Kinder Scout is a moorland plateau in the Dark Peak of Derbyshire, and stands as the highest point in the county of Derbyshire. In 1932 a mass trespass which met with police resistance, eventually led to the 'right to roam' act in 2003. On a fine day, the northen Welsh mountains can be seen.
